Reliability and consistency of data are the key, if not the heart, of any ERP. An unprecise, inadequate or wrong data entry will generate issues, resulting in blocking and delays.

Therefore, it is essential to define clear rules for data entry or maintenance in the ERP, thanks to a strong documentation.

Nevertheless, this isn’t enough. It is mandatory to make regular checks of data. This can be done through system extractions that will highlight any deviation.

An automated data entry will avoid typing mistakes.
